The Collis Curve Toothbrushes are great for kids/adults learning to brush or having difficulties brushing their teeth, those with oral sensitivities and particularly useful where mouth care is provided by a second person.

The Collis Curve Toothbrush features two outer rows of curved bristles and a center row of short straight bristles, enabling front, back and top of each tooth to be cleaned and gums massaged, all at once.

The brushes feel thinner and less obtrusive than other brushes. They are more comfortable for care recipients and removes plaque in half the time of other brushes.

How to brush effectively

Place the Collis Curve toothbrush over the top of the lower front teeth. Using a short back and forth brushing motion, gradually progress to the back teeth on one side.

Re-position the brush over the lower front teeth and brush to reach the back teeth on the other side. Repeat for the upper teeth.

If necessary, tilt the brush from side-to-side as you brush, to ensure reaching the tooth surface at and below the gum margin.

Initially, bleeding from the gums may occur, indicating that plaque has not been removed previously from this area. If bleeding persists, contact a dental professional.

To clean any areas you may have missed, use the Collis Curve toothbrush as you would a straight-bristled toothbrush.

Clinical tests show the curved bristle to be more effective in massaging gums and removing plaque than the conventional straight bristle.

Remember, the main aim of tooth brushing is to remove plaque from all surfaces to prevent dental decay and gum disease.

Wonderful for an Alzheimer's patient

'Purchased these for my husband, who is in moderate stage Alzheimer's. I had noticed that he was brushing side to side, when I could get him to brush, and this is exactly what has been needed to make sure his teeth get a good brushing while allowing him to care for himself.
Having heard of the Collis Curve years ago, I did not realize how great my need would be for this invention. If you have a child just learning to brush or a loved one that is forgetting how to brush, this is a very worthwhile purchase.'

Great for getting rid of cavities in the back of your mouth. Quadriplegic approved.

'I'm in a different boat than most people because I'm a disabled quadriplegic veteran. So caregivers were missing my back teeth brushing and I was paying the price with cavities and fillings. The dentist offered this toothbrush and I haven't quit yet because the cavities are gone.

Hopefully this helps people if it works for me it should work for everyone else because my teeth are crooked as can be.'
